Between words

I thought writing a blog would come to me with ease.

I imagined that all the thoughts and reflections I carry around would finally find a home. That I would write more than I ever did on Instagram. That I would linger in a feeling, explore it from different angles, and allow myself to go deeper.

What I've come to realise, though, is that however much I have to share, if I have a choice, I'd rather do it face to face.

It's not only about expressing what's alive within me. It's about what happens in the space between people. The instant response. A thoughtful question. A smile. A silence. The conversation that unfolds naturally and takes us somewhere neither of us expected.

For me, that's where the real magic lives.

It doesn't mean I'll stop writing. Or that this blog hasn't become what I hoped it would. I still love the idea of having my own little corner on the internet—a place where I can return whenever there's something I want to put into words.

Perhaps I'll write often. Perhaps there will be longer pauses in between.

I'm learning not to force either.

If you're reading this, thank you for being here. It means more than you know.

Until next time.
